Stone and Asphalt
A minimum thickness of 6” of crushed stone aggregate should be used under a track. In colder climates, it is customary to increase that thickness. The stone base should be graded and compacted to a very close tolerance. We recommend two separate courses of asphalt for the asphalt pavement. This allows for better quality control during construction.
