Construction Timeframe
Once the bulk grading and storm water work is completed and the track construction contractor is notified to proceed with the work, it will take ten to twenty weeks to complete a new construction project. A slew of bad weather can add months to these totals.

Weather Requirements
In general, most site work can be accomplished when the ground is dry and temperatures are above 50ºF. The finish course asphalt work is best accomplished when it is dry and temperatures are at least 60ºF. Track surface installations are most successful when conditions are dry and temperatures are at least 60ºF and rising with full sun.
